Pack of 8 safety clips for airtight quick connectors, designed to prevent any unintended disconnection during your technical dives. Easy to install, they can be quickly removed using a cord (not included).

Description

Improve the safety of your airtight quick connectors during your technical dives with our safety clips specially designed for standard connectors.

These robust clips attach directly to the quick connector to prevent any unintended or accidental opening of oxygen, air or diluent lines, and can be easily removed in case of freeflow.

Notes:

Pack of 8 clips. Please specify in the order comments the desired quantity per type and color to create your custom assortment (e.g.: 4x QC4 black, 2x QC6 green).
The connectors shown in the photos are not included.
The cord is not included. This allows you to choose the color, diameter (max ø 2mm) and length of your choice. For example, spearfishing cord ø=2mm.

Important safety note

These safety clips are intended for experienced divers, trained in technical diving and fully familiar with their configuration, equipment and operating procedures.

The user is solely responsible for:

equipment selection,
proper installation of the clips and cord,
pre-dive checks,
and appropriate underwater use.

Chouka cannot be held liable under any circumstances for any accident, incident or consequences resulting from misuse, incorrect installation or modification of the product.
It is the diver’s responsibility to ensure that their equipment is compliant, suitable for their practice and used in accordance with diving safety rules.

Installation and use

It is necessary to connect the clip to the connector with a small cord (not supplied), which has a dual purpose: making it easier to remove the clip to open the connector, and preventing the clip from being lost when it is ejected:

Choose a cord with a maximum diameter of 2mm. For example, Dyneema spearfishing cord with a diameter of 2mm.
Attach the cord to the clip: pass one end of the cord through the hole in the clip and tie a double fisherman’s knot to secure the attachment.
Attach it to the quick connector: pass the other end of the cord around the quick connector (in a place where the cord does not interfere with the mechanism) and also tie a double fisherman’s knot.
Tighten the knots and cut off the excess cord on both sides.
Snap the clip onto the connector: the connector is locked and can no longer open unintentionally;
To open the connector: remove the clip by pulling on the cord or eject it by pushing on both tabs.
