Description
Dimensions
The Chouka Balls are available in two diameters:
- ⌀ 30 mm: minimal footprint on the cockpit.
- ⌀ 40 mm: better grip, especially when wearing thick gloves.
Compatible with brake handles with or without a swivel, up to a maximum diameter of ⌀ 8.2 mm (standard ⌀ 8 mm).
Assembly
Installation is quick and simple — under one minute, with no tools and without disconnecting your wing:
- Slide the brake line through the slot of the control ball.
- Push it until it stops at the brake handle (above the swivel).
- Tie the remaining end of the brake line to prevent the ball from sliding.
If the remaining line is too short, use a small piece of spare line to secure it. - Check that your brake travel is not altered.
- If slightly modified, make sure during inflation and a first test flight that the wing’s trailing edge is not pulled in “hands-up” or accelerated position.
- Lengthen your brake handles if necessary.

Safety and pre-flight checks
Before every flight, make sure the balls do not get entangled with other lines and that they are securely positioned along the brake line.

A version for handles without swivels would be nice, a little hard to make sure they don’t fall off. Put small dot of hotglue on the top. A knot was not enough.
Fits nicely over the line and over the swivel which keeps free rotating. Small version is perfect for me.
Nice product, I like it very much in air and on starts as well
Pretty good quality as for 3D printed part.
