Contents of the kit
The complete CHOUKA rescue kit includes:
- Zippered pouch that holds everything.
- CHOUKA whistle, extremely loud.
- Dyneema sling (180 cm), certified to EN566, UIAA104 standards.
- Grivel K3N Plume locking carabiner, certified to EN12275, UIAA121 standards. Use this with the Dyneema sling to secure yourself (with the harness) in case of a tree landing while waiting for rescue.
- 25m of ultra-thin Dyneema string (0.5 mm, 40 kg resistance) for the rescue team to send up a climbing rope to you, enabling descent from the tree. Do not use this string directly for descending.
- CHOUKA accessory carabiner to attach the whistle and/or the knife within reach.
- CHOUKA NANO ultralight knife.
- Emergency blanket (210cm x 160cm).
- First-aid materials:
- Anti-bleeding dressing.
- Elastic bandage (3m x cm).
- A few dressings for minor cuts.

Notes and Safety
- Do not use the Dyneema string (25m x 0.5mm, 40kg resistance) directly for descending the tree. It is intended solely for sending a climbing rope up to the tree-bound pilot.
- Avoid using the whistle indoors or near someone’s ear.
- Keep the kit out of reach of children (especially the knife).
